It offers processing for consumer, retail, commercial, government services, stored value, and debit cards. Other services include merchant acquiring, debt management, risk management tools and customer retention programs. The company manages its operations under three business segments: domestic-based support services, international-based support services, and merchant acquiring services.The company has a significant market position in the payment processing business. TSYS is the second largest third party card processor and merchant acquirer in the US. It has won processing contracts from significant financial institutions across the globe. Some of the recent contracts won by the company were from Nationwide, Russia’s Tinkoff. Credit Systems, and PaySquare Issuing of the Netherlands, among others.
